1992 – 1998:
Immersed himself in hip-hop and worked as a beatmaker/DJ in a local hip-hop group.
One of the youth accomplishments was his mixtapes and music featured in the famous hip-hop magazine.
He continues to make music even now.

2004:
While working on music production, he became interested in music engineers so he relocated to Los Angeles to learn more.
Soon after, he was an intern at a post production/music studio in Hollywood, CA where he was introduced to sound post production for motion pictures and sound design. At the same time, he studied recording technology at a college.
2007:
As he gained skills in sound post production, he joined the sound department team as a sound editor, working on film and TV series.
Expanding his skills, Hide also became interested in recording his original sound effects and ambiences.

2011:
Returned to Japan and continued working as a sound editor/sound recordist. Meanwhile, he decided to run his sound library site which was his long-time interest before.
2017:
Anti-Node Design has been launched, a website providing sound libraries for professional use.

His motto is to provide unique sound effects in the best quality format, and he relentlessly searches for interesting sound sources which are useful for film, TV, and video game sound design.
As a fluent english speaker Hide also acts as a consultant for projects requiring authentic Japanese sound effects and ambiences.
